Old Ric - Simply a Legend
Ric Sainty (06.06.1934 - 16.07.2008)
Old Ric, one of the best loved and most respected of pub landlords passed away at 10:15 am local time, on Wednesday, 16th July, 2008, while holidaying in France with his best friend of over 30 years, Chas Wright. He died of a heart attack, doing one of the things he loved most – and was good at – having a good time!

Computer Issues
As many of you know, I have run a computer business since 1997, focusing mainly on graphic and web design. However, over the years, this has to hardware and software support, training, advice and troubleshooting. Its not uncommon during an evening at the Spot, for three or four people to come up to me and ask advice on one thing or another to do with a computer problem they have. This really isn't a problem but just remember, I don't know it all - and never profess to! There are things I really don't know. Some questions asked are very specific, however, many could be useful to others, so I propose to include them here. If you have anything useful to add, please feel free, or if you you have a question, you can post it here, or see me in the Spot.
